Rev. JD Sluss, Children's Pastor/Church Administrator
JD and his wife, Brenda, served in ministry at several churches before coming to New Bridge in the summer of 2004. They have two adult children, Jennifer (JB) & Jeremy (Sarah), and have been blessed with four grandchildren. JD began his ministry as Children's Pastor, and his role was expanded to include Church Administrator in 2007. JD loves family adventures, cooking, fixing things, and connecting with people of all ages. He uses music, media, drama, and more to help kids of all ages to come to know Jesus Christ in a personal relationship. This can be seen in Sunday morning Kids' Worship, VBS, and Adventure Camp (a week long summer camp for kids in the Shenandoah Valley that he has been leading for 30+ years). JD loves to share God's Word with children and help them to build a strong foundation as they face the challenges of everyday life.
